If you’re looking for some of the most aesthetic coffee shops in the Dallas area, look no further because I found a few just for you (haha, that rhymed). We’re always on the lookout for the most visually appealing coffee spots around, because I won’t work or show my friends any old place. So without further ado, I present to you (rhyme again, yikes) some of our favorite coffee shops!
LaLaLand Cafe Dallas
There’s an abundance of pastries to choose from and a specialty drink menu that’ll suit any person with any palette. Oh, they have cool merch too. If you’re looking to buy some coffee beans to grind at home for a lazy morning, they have those too! And they come in these small jars that you can reuse.
The farmhouse style is in a large amount of suburban mom’s homes, and for good reason! It’s bright and airy with wood accents and oh, did we mention the marble? We found a cozy little coffee shop on the outskirts of Dallas.
LaLa Land Cafe is located in the Belmont neighborhood, boasting a rustic looking downtown with plenty of cool restaurants and second-hand shops. The cafe itself is open, well-lit, and feels like you’re sitting in your favorite aunt’s farmhouse style living room.
Buzz & Bustle
This is a larger space, which is good because there’s a lot of foot traffic. The seating all wraps around the coffee bar, and there’s plenty of seating indoors and outdoors, so if al the velvet chairs or comfy booths are taken, you can pop-a-squat outdoors.
We’ve found it… The perfect MCM, industrial jungle that is Buzz cafe. Did my pourover cost 8 dollars? Yes. Is it an absolute banger of a Columbian? YES! The ambiance, the vibes, the coffee all make for a stellar place to catch up with friends, work (bring your headphones), or just enjoy some much needed alone time.
Fiction Coffee
I’m a sucker for a good batch brew/drip, and they have a great one. Regular or the single origin, you can’t go wrong!
I’ve also noticed that a lot of people get their coffee to-go from this place. It makes sense, considering how small the interior is. But if you’re able to grab a seat with a friend, I’d recommend it!
If you’re looking to enjoy some breakfast tacos with your morning cup of coffee then you’ve found your new favorite spot! Fiction is small, dark, and cozy, making it a perfect place to study or get a bit of work done.
White Rhino
This spot has become one of our favorites, and for good reason too! Each location partners with different ministry and humanitarian efforts, for example refugees and survivors of exploitation.
So if you’re looking for your next favorite spot for a cup of joe in Dallas, check out these locations!
Now who said a franchised (or chain? I’m not sure tbh) coffee shop couldn’t have good coffee! Ditch the S-bucks and make your way to White Rhino… if you’re in the DFW area, that is.
This location is a big one, with seating to boot and, oh my goodness is that an upstairs with balcony seating?! Yes, yes it is. It’s bright, it’s spacious, it’s not too loud here, it has all you could want. Oh, and good coffee too!
